Sometimes high fashion is just a little bit over our heads. Bringing wearable art to the world of sneakers is a recipe for bold designs, intricate details, and unique materials, but just like runway-ready pieces, the results can often be hard to actually picture on foot. If you’re trying to stand out from the pack, though, a new collaboration between Windowsen and Nike is exactly what you’re looking for.

The first collaboration between the brand by Chinese-born designer Sensen Lii and Nike, the Windowsen x Nike Air Max Muse Pack takes the chunky futuristic runner and chucks it into outer space. The two pair pack is covered in shiny uppers in metallic silver and gold. Starting with the gold pair, the shoe features alien graphics subtly woven into an all-over print, adds bright blue behind the gold, and finishes things off with hits of red.

The silver pair features the same extraterrestrial print throughout the silver panels, but instead of contrasting colors, it adds even more silver to the rest of the upper, switching it up with subtle hints of alien green on the tongue and heel labels, Swoosh, and outsole. On both shoes, the tongue gets a custom AM Windowsen label with alien eyes, and a custom alien head figurine affixed to the bottom lace. For a brand that Vogue once described as wanting you to “dress like a hot alien,” Windows did not disappoint.
