Seeing Nike items in Costco is nothing new, but an official collaboration between Nike and the wholesale warehouse giant? That’s a first. In 2025, leaked images showed us that Nike SB and Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand would be working on an SB Dunk Low colorway. Plans were for the sneaker to be released in the Holiday 2025 season (October-December), but we’re in 2026 and the colorway is nowhere to be seen. What happened?

Following the initial leaks of the Costco Nike SB Dunk, official images loaded on Nike’s server on October 23, 2025. Makes sense, most limited collaborations have their images load just before a release. Weeks would go by and there were no updates, but an Instagram Reel added more confusion to the situation.

Are the Costco x Nike SB Dunks Real?

According to Instagram user @schube93, his source at Costco corporate told him that the Costco SB Dunk Low was not real. Not to call him or his source out, but the pair was slated to drop at one point and official images are still up on Nike’s server. Nike and Costco 100% worked together to create the shoe, though exactly how it was going to be rolled out is a mystery.

However, images loaded on Nike’s server don’t necessarily mean that the pair will be released. This has happened in the past with sneakers that made it all the way to production but were subsequently canceled due to internal reasons. Right now, there is no planned release window for the pair.

Previous examples of a situation like this include the CPFM x Nike Air Flea 1, which had official images load but no release. Supposedly that pair was canceled because of sizing issues. More recently, images of the friends-and-family Nike SB Dunk Low from the 2024 Summer Olympics loaded. The pair was not on a release calendar or set for a drop, so images loading was quite odd. Like the Costco SBs, the Olympics pair has no confirmed release.

When Will the Costco x Nike SB Dunk Be Released?

As mentioned before, Nike removed the Costco SB Dunk Low from its release calendar in December 2025. Therefore, it’s safe to assume it has been delayed or canceled entirely.
