Verdy’s Wasted Youth is Teaming Up with Dr. Martens for Three Pairs of Penton Loafers

Japanese designer Verdy has a handful of beloved brands, but his skate and punk-influenced Wasted Youth label might be our favorite. Introduced to the wider sneaker world with a Nike SB Dunk collab in 2021, the brand has been evolving in front of an audience since then. Now, Wasted Youth is returning to the footwear world with a pack of Dr. Martens loafers in bright leather colorways.

Verdy Gets Formal

The Wasted Youth x Dr. Martens Penton Loafer collection features three pairs of dressy collab colorways: Black, Green, and Pink. All three pairs feature a thick black sole with classic yellow Doc Marten stitching connecting it to the upper.

The Penton Loafer features raised stitching around the toebox with a monochrome strap over the tongue panel and a silver ring at the heel. On the back paneling, a tuxedo-shaped brick pattern wraps around both side panels, and Wasted Youth co-branding is added to the insoles.
