Taking the head-to-toe denim approach seriously, both pairs feature a full denim design from midsole to the tongue and toe to heel, leaving no space for contrasting materials.

The only break from denim on the pairs comes from the structurally necessary silver lace loops, the laces, and the white Vans tag that hangs off the seam separating the toebox from the rest of the upper. The waffle sole underneath is a classic brown, but you can’t get a peek past the denim when looking at the shoe from above or the sides.
