Nike has been lacing up its NCAA programs in special pairs of the Foamposite Pro-inspired Vaporposite Pro throughout the early weeks of the college football season. So far, we’ve seen TCU, Ohio State, Texas, FSU, Clemson, and LSU take the gridiron in these special player-exclusive versions of the model. Next up on Nike’s seeding list is USC.
Nike Vaporposite Pro USC PE Details
Shared in a social media post by the USC Trojans, the Southern California-based university goes stealthy with its colorway. Black Foamposite material wraps around the upper, with faux carbon fiber accents found on the eyelets and near the vamp. Black mesh and black laces continue the black-on-black theme, while the Trojans’ signature hues start to take shape on the mini Swoosh near the toe.
Red and gold then make their mark on the metallic Swoosh on the midfoot and the USC tongue label, while red embroidery is found on the black pull tab. To keep your foot secure, Nike employs an internal bootie, which is done in a black neoprene finish. Final details include the “Fight On” text on the heel tab and a red iridescent finish on the cleated outsole.
Will the USC Nike Vaporposite Release?
Unfortunately, unless you’re a student-athlete for the school or are willing to shell out big bucks to secure a pair from someone who is, you won’t be able to get your hands on the Nike Vaporposite Pro USC PE. Expect to see the Trojans take the field against the Washington Huskies in the pair next Saturday.
