Union Los Angeles started the year with a major collab collection, teaming up with Jordan Brand and fragment for a three-pack of Air Jordan 1 Highs stitched together with streetwear history. Now, with the year almost over, Chris Gibbs and crew are heading back up the Pacific coast to Beaverton again, this time for a pack of Dunk Lows with a hybrid heel.
Mule Dunks in Bamboo Suede
The Union x Nike Dunk Low Bamboo has been on The Swoosh’s calendar since April, and then last month, a few preview images of the Bamboo pair popped up online. With the Bamboo colorway set to drop soon, a new set of official images is here for a closer look at the collapsible heel Dunk Low mule in monochrome khaki.

Featuring a coat of Bamboo suede across the upper to match the same color on the midsole, the outsole adds a bit of contrast in creamy off white. Yellow zig-zag stitching is added on the lace panel and the tongue, with Union co-branding on the tongue logo, side panel tag, and lace dubrae. Last but not least, the star of the show is the thin ankle collar designed to be stepped down into a mule for the perfect convertible house shoe.
