Founded by Jun Takahashi, the fashion label Undercover continues to make waves both in the realm of luxury and streetwear, marrying the two design languages with Japanese influences. Arguably most famous in the sneakerhead world for their collaborative efforts with Nike, the duo are continuing their partnership with an array of redesigned AF1s, spotted already in all-white, "Black," and a “Grey Fog” rendition. Now on the heels of the three-packs release, a sample pair has appeared with Renaissance-style artwork covering the entire upper.
The same Air Revaderchi-infused design is present on this collaborative AF1 as the TPU heel overlay and internal neoprene bootie from the Nike ACG silhouette are present. Gore-Tex leather covers the entirety of the overlays and underlays with artwork plastered atop in black and white while smokey greys, black, and solid whites come throughout. Tumbled leather lands on the white Nike Swoosh with more colorless hits coming via the lace set, held together with a metallic lace dubrae featuring Japanese characters. Co-branded details appear on the top of the tongue and on the semi-translucent smokey grey TPU heel overlay, with both labels' names written on the insole. Underfoot, a white-on-white AF1 midsole and outsole complete the look.
The Undercover x Nike Air Force 1 Low Camo currently has no set release date but is expected to be available near the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023.
