Dropping just in time to celebrate the Air Force 1's 40th Anniversary, this special collaboration has been re-designed from the ground up to tackle the elements with style. Infusing Takahashi's stealthy techwear aesthetic with Kilgore's court-ready style, here's what you need to know.
Boasting an all-black leather construction that's lined with Gore-Tex for added waterproofing, UNDERCOVER's latest take on the AF1 features a reworked heel portion that combines a versatile neoprene bootie with a series of straps and buckles. The back of the Forces now feature a glossy plastic pull tab that's reminiscent of the Air Jordan 4, and you'll find the Japanese streetwear label's signature "U" logo just below it. This motif extends towards the tongue, and as you shift your focus downwards you'll spot a pair of shiny dubraes that are laser-etched with "BALANCE" and "CHAOS" in a capitalized font. This sits on top of a crisp sail Air midsole and comes packed within a special edition shoe box that's made for the Swoosh collectors out there.
The UNDERCOVER x Nike Air Force 1 Low Gore-Tex Black is set to release in October in men's sizes.
