De’Aaron Fox has spent the first bit of the NBA season on the bench with a nagging hamstring injury, but he’s had plenty to watch with his teammate Victor Wembenyama putting the league on notice from the tip-off of game one. With recovery downtime, Fox has no doubt been spending more time with his family. For his latest Under Armour signature shoe drop, the Spurs star guard is going retro with a public release of a past PE dedicated to his daughter.
The Under Armour Curry Fox 1 Poppy PE is a golden yellow colorway with flower-print accents dedicated to his daughter Poppy and the inspiration behind her name, the California state flower. The shoe starts with a coat of yellow mesh across the entire upper with more yellow on the leather heel support panels. The poppy print is integrated into the toe and side panel support layers, with larger poppy graphics covering the forefoot strap. The Fox tongue logo is done in a mix of darker yellow and white for an extra hit of contrast.
Fox debuted the Poppy PE on court last year, but at that time, it was a personal PE, with no plans for a public release. Now, with the UA Curry Fox 2 dropping in plenty of colorways for the new NBA season, Fox is going back in time to show love to his daughter and give the fans a chance to get in on the PE energy.
The Under Armour Curry Fox 1 Poppy PE will be released October 31, 2025 through Under Armour and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120. For all the latest NBA signature shoe news, tap in with the Sole Retriever mobile app.
