If you're in the market for a diamond encrusted pendant or a set of blinged out grillz, Tommy Jewels is the man to call. Located in New York City's Chinatown, the Macau-born icon has made quite a name for himself in the jewelry business over the past few years, and now, for the first time ever, he's stepping out into the shoe game with the Tommy Jewels x Puma Clyde "Stay Gold." His first official sneaker collaboration, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far, including potential release information, pricing details, and so much more.
Taking on Walt "Clyde" Frazier's signature shoe, which is getting increasingly popular thanks to END. Clothing and Jeff Staple, Tommy Jewels' rhinestone rendition is decked out in premium grey suede from heel to toe. The thick flat laces come in slick black and champagne gold hues, and to the laterals and medials, the Formstrip has been covered in a faux snakeskin-like effect which adds to the collaboration's luxury influence. Elsewhere, the co-branding on the sides are touched up in gold foil, and this metallic effect extends towards the heel's "STAY GOLD" motif and Chinese characters, which directly translate to "gold" in English.
Released on February 11th, 2023 at 82 Bowery in NYC and at Solely Tea, the Tommy Jewels x Puma Clyde Stay Gold is set to get a much wider drop in the coming weeks in men's sizes at PUMA and select retailers, with a retail price yet TBA.
