Collaborative efforts in the sneaker world are so commonplace compared to the past we’ll usually get news of a new partnership on what seems like a daily basis. Just recently we’ve seen Converse look towards Concepts and Patta for separate projects while Puma has just unveiled its next collaborative effort with Jeff Staple, a followup to the duos “Create From Chaos” collection that launched in 2021.
Aside from the clothing pieces in the collection that match the sneakers, a split black/white colorway with co-branded details and premium leather dress the Jeff Staple x Puma Clyde Create From Chaos 2. Drawing inspiration from the yin-yang symbol, the right side of each pair comes in white while the left gets a black makeover. A white-on-white tongue and lace set takes over the center while the tag up top gets comes in red/black on the right sneaker while the left comes in white/red. Moving along to the heel, Jeff Staple’s infamous “Pigeon” logo gets stamped atop the tumbled leather and directly references the yin-yang symbol the pair is modeled after. Our final hits of branding come in the form of a red pigeon on the heel tab and “Create From Chaos” text in the same shade located on the medial side of the heel. Rounding out the entire design is the white rubber midsole and outsole combo.
The Jeff Staple x Puma Clyde Create From Chaos 2 capsule is set to release on November 11th, 2022 through Foot Locker online and in-store as well as through Jeff Staple’s staplepigeon.com. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest happenings in sneakers, streetwear, and more.
