Verdy, the visionary behind the beloved streetwear brand Girls Don't Cry, continues to weave his magic in the sneaker world, this time extending his collaboration with Nike SB. Known for his distinctive design approach and the creation of instantly iconic pieces, Verdy's partnership with Nike SB has already brought us memorable sneakers that fuse art with skate culture, including the recently revealed Nike SB Dunk Low Visty. Now, we have news that another character of Verdy’s will be translated into an SB Dunk Low with the white-and-black panda/rabbit character Vick.
While exact details and images are yet to be fully revealed, the anticipated Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low Vick will likely maintain the same design elements and material choices seen on the Visty pair. With the color palette sticking to just white and black, a combination of these hues will take over the faux fur and suede construction, with the exact colorblocking currently unknown. As for branding, Verdy’s mark is displayed along the tongue tag, while a Nike Swoosh and SB branding are found on the midfoot and heel, respectively. Rounding out the look is the tonal midsole and outsole.
The Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low Vick will release in Summer 2024 through Nike SB-affiliated retailers, Girls Don't Cry, and possibly via Nike online.
