Teyana Taylor Celebrates Oscar Nomination with Debut of New Jordan 3 Concrete Rose Collab

From the world’s introduction to Teyana Taylor on an episode of MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 in 2007 (Google that one, kids), to her incredible success as a musician, model, and actress, culminating in 2025’s Paul Thomas Anderson hit One Battle After Another that has garnered Taylor a Best Supporting Actress Golden Globe win and an Oscar nomination in the same category. With the academy giving Taylor her flowers, Jordan Brand decided it was the perfect time to roll out Taylor’s latest Air Jordan collab.

The Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 3 Retro Concrete Rose continues the theme from Taylor’s first Jordan collab, 2023’s Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 Concrete Rose, taking inspiration from Tupac’s famous poem, “The Rose That Grew From Concrete.” Taylor debuted the Jordan 3 colorway in an editorial shoot on a bench in a garden surrounded by green grass and shrubs, tying the botanical theme together.

We haven’t seen official photos of the shoe yet, but from the images posted on social media by Taylor and Jordan Brand, the AJ 3 is dark green leather across the upper with a white midsole and gum bottom. The tongue features a red rose with “Tey” written underneath, and a second set of rope-thick thorny rose stem laces draping over the toebox and side panels.
