New Photos Surface of Teyana Taylor’s Air Jordan 3 Concrete Rose

Teyana Taylor has been tapped in since she was a kid. The newly honored Golden Globe winner and Oscar-nominated actress has been collecting sneakers since the days before she first appeared on MTV as a teenager. Taylor’s career has evolved, from music to movies and more, but her love for sneakers has never waned, growing into a full-blown Jordan partnership. Continuing her ongoing collab, Taylor’s first Jordan 3 colorway is a literal take on Tupac’s famous poem.

The Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 3 Concrete Rose starts from the ground up, with a midsole caked in makeshift concrete. The rough grey stone look creeps up the sole onto an all-green upper, like a rose plant peeking out from the sidewalk, just like the metaphor for resilience in Tupac’s poem. The soft green leather features a red rose graphic on the tongue and a spikey rose vine rope accessory overlay, plus a gold rose pendant.

Taylor’s Air Jordan 3 collab comes two and a half years after her first Jumpman collab, “A Rose From Harlem,” an Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 with thorny vine graphics on the Swoosh and rose red leather. This time around, the theme goes even deeper into the artistic influence.
