Womenswear designer Susan Fang is no stranger to the lace and jewel lifestyle currently taking over the women’s sneaker landscape. Last year, Fang teamed up with Nike to drop pairs of frilly, pearl-packed colorways of the Dunk Low and V2K Run that made their debut down the aisle at Fang’s wedding. Now, as the rest of the sneaker industry catches up to Fang’s perspective, she’s back with another footwear partnership for the fall.
New Flowers Ready to Blume
The Susan Fang x Crocs Echo Blume is back on trend with an iridescent, color-changing upper panel on top, with a mule-style open back and floral accessory details floating across the upper and side panels. Arriving in three debut colorways, the new model collab is set to drop in Pink, Black, and White.
“(The) Echo Blume moves with the fluidity of water,” Susan Fang’s social media team wrote about the silhouette. “The futuristic, harmonious flow of the Echo Blume silhouette embodies the Flow of Life, while clusters of wildflowers bloom across its surface. Each flower is created through SUSAN FANG’s signature flower system, using fractal formulas found in nature to generate its form. Finished in metallic tones, the flowers are delicate in scale yet powerful in expression.”
