Supreme’s Nike SB Version of Charles Barkley’s Air Max CB ‘94 is Dropping for Week 2 of SS26

Early last year, reports emerged that Nike SB would remake Charles Barkley’s signature Nike Air Max CB ‘94 into a low-top sneaker. Weird right? Well, once official images loaded about a month ago, we all realized why such an odd remix was underway as streetwear titan Supreme was connected to the release. Fresh off a Spring/Summer 2026 week 1 release that saw a $4,000 casket sell out immediately, plus the return of the Arabic Box Logo T-Shirt and a $400 toaster oven, had everyone excited for the return of Supreme. Now, Sole Retriever can confirm that the week 2 drop will feature a release of the Supreme Nike SB Air Max CB ‘94.

Marking the first time Chuck’s signature sneaker with Nike is chopped down into a low-top, Supreme applies an all-over black color scheme to one pair, a white with gum and red accents to the second, and finally a metallic gold with red accents to round out the three-pack. Even with it now going low, the overlays are unchanged, with perforated leather panels reinforcing the leather base layer below. Supreme branding is found on the pull tab on the heel, right above the Nike SB Air logo, on the co-branded Nike SB and Supreme insole, and on the plastic hangtag. Supreme also sneaks onto the outsole, with a red box logo stamped next to the visible Air unit.

As for what exactly has been changed to make the chunky basketball silhouette into a skate-ready sneaker, we’re still left wondering. The outsole traction appears unchanged, and the tooling doesn’t seem to have been reworked in any way. Perhaps they lowered the internal build of the sneaker to get you closer to the ground, but we’ll have to wait and see what Supreme says early next week once it’s formally announced by the brand.
