Nike is Rumored to be Bringing the Air Max 2000 Back for 2026 with Supreme’s Help

Nike’s Air Max line is bigger than some shoe brands’ entire archives, with the staple classic models we all know and love joined by a handful of random, lesser-known silhouettes often lost to the scrap heap of time. Never one to accept the standard catalog offerings, New York’s Supreme is rumored to be bringing back one of those long-forgotten Air Max models before the year is up, with a collaboration on the Nike Air Max 2000.

The news comes from the typically reliable South African Instagram user Bubble Kope, who kept the info sparse, but detailed that the first return of the Nike Air Max 2000 since the year 2001 is coming with a helping hand from Supreme and is slated to arrive before the year is up. Originally released at the turn of the 21st Century, the Nike Air Max 2000 features a wavy one-piece upper with horizontal line textured accents on the side panels and a recessed lacing system.

There’s no word yet on a colorway that might come from the Supreme x Nike Air Max 2000 return, so the options are literally endless. A frequent collaborator for more than two decades, Supreme and Nike have joined forces on classic shoes like SB Dunks and Air Force 1s, but have also pushed the limits of the Nike catalog, including the upcoming Supreme x Nike SB Air Max CB ‘94.

As of now, there is no concrete news on the potential Supreme x Nike Air Max 2000, but Bubble Kope is reporting that the shoe will be released Fall 2026 through Supreme and Nike, so look out for more info soon.
