Australia is truly the other side of the world. The island continent on the southern hemisphere has toilets that flush backwards, more poisonous animals than you can count, and what might be the world’s best accent. When it comes to sneakers and streetwear, Australian retailer SUPPLY is the head of the snake, and after throwing Surplus Festival with Nike, bringing the entire industry Down Under, SUPPLY is back with a fresh Salomon collab connecting with the French brand over a shared love for exploration.
The SUPPLY x Salomon XT-4 OG is ready for rough terrain with a black mesh base covered in support panels decked out in rock-print graphics, adding a dusty look that will only get more pronounced the more real sand, dirt, and pebbles it treks through. The Down Under shoe features SUPPLY branding throughout, adding SUP to the right toe and PLY to the left where the shoe’s LAB branding typically sits. SUPPLY logos are added to the mid-tongue stabilizers, and the heel-side Salomon logos are flipped upside down, just like everything on the southern hemisphere.
“The ‘Down Under’ campaign captures the connection between two hemispheres, highlighting how a shared spirit of expedition collapses physical distance, uniting geographies and landscapes through the pursuit of discovery,” The brands wrote about the new shoe. Keeping the connective theme in mind, an editorial shoot for the collab features images of the shoe hiking across Paris and Australia, bringing the brands together on either sides of the globe.
The Supply Store x Salomon XT-4 OG Down Under will be released November 21, 2025 through SUPPLY Store, Salomon, and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is still TBD. To keep up with all the latest Salomon collab news, download the Sole Retriever mobile app now.
