Asics is adding a new collab silhouette to the catalog, but only for sneakerheads across the Atlantic. Designed in collaboration with Netherlands designers Studio Hagel, the Asics Neotide is a follow-up to last year’s Studio Hagel x Asics Neocurve design, continuing the partnership built on circular design made from recycled materials.

The Studio Hagel x Asics Neotide debuts in two colorways: Sweet Pink and Brown Storm. Both shoes are made from recycled, defective, and unsold Asics products collected from across Europe, taken apart with care by Netherlands-based recycling pioneer Fast Feet Grinded, and put back together with a design crafted by Studio Hagel.

The result is a mesh runner with a bulky, wavy sole and thin suede paneling that looks perfect in its recycled roughness. The shoe debuted in a video ad made for social media featuring topiary design and a very European style of garden relaxation, perfectly bringing the new silhouette to life.
