Streetsouk x Nike Air Force 1 Low
The African streetwear scene has been bubbling lately, and Nike is on board with the hype, bringing new collabs with Jordan and Ghana’s Free the Youth and a pair of Air Max Plus colorways for Nigeria’s Homecoming Festival. Streetsouk, the African streetwear curator, is the latest collab partner from the continent, with images of their green and white AF1 hitting the ‘net.
All Crocs, All The Time
The Streetsouk x Nike Air Force 1 Low is a tribute to the crocodile, combining bright green and white croc skin print with two different croc graphics, and that’s just on the back half. The shoe was previewed on Instagram this week, with bright grass green on the back panel and Swoosh, with white croc skin on the middle side panel.
The first croc graphic is a Streetsouk mascot embroidered in white running on two feet at the lateral heel. The second one switches to green against the white heel tab, showing a croc head munching down on a green Swoosh. The midsole is white, with green on the AIR branding to match the outsole, but from the one-image preview, that’s about all we can see.
