In Lagos, Nigeria, the annual Homecoming Festival is a cultural melting pot designed to bring together Africa’s leading music, fashion, sports, and more and present it for a global audience. Homecoming is returning to Lagos this April for another four-day festival celebrating arts and culture, and this year, Nike is getting in on the action with an exclusive pack of Air Max Plus Homecoming collabs.

The Homecoming x Nike Air Max Plus Pack features two colorways, one with a black base and red, green, and grey accents, and another in orange with white, red, and green accents. On both pairs, Homecoming adds Africa-themed accessories and three pairs of thick, overlapping laces reminiscent of Virgil Abloh’s Nike work and the designer sneakers he inspired.

Both pairs are designed with a thick plastic coating over the toe and a stiff, stacked mesh sitting between rubber paneling. The tongue and sockliners are designed as a one-piece slip-on with a neoprene booty and the synthetic side panels stretching all the way across the tongue like a cage covered in the multi-colored rope laces. Each shoe features a shell, Africa pendant, and Homecoming charm attached to the laces, with a co-branded Homecoming x Nike map of Africa logo on the tongue and insoles.

The Homecoming x Nike Air Max Plus Pack will be released at the Homecoming festival in Lagos in April, with a wide release expected sometime in Spring 2026.
