Spurs Guard Steph Castle Shows Off an Air Jordan 40 Infrared PE in Slam Magazine Shoot

We’ve got to find a new nickname for Steph Castle. The Spurs point guard is a major factor on the second-best team in the Western Conference heading into the playoffs, but we simply cannot keep calling him Steph as a one-name moniker; that’s already taken. Castle is a good last name; we should probably just go with that.

Now that we’ve got that gripe out of the way, let’s take a look at Castle’s new kicks. In a cover shoot for the latest issue of Slam Magazine, Castle made sure to show out for the sneakerhead readers, bringing along a PE colorway of the Air Jordan 40 clad in Infrared suede.

The Stephon Castle Air Jordan 40 Infrared PE is a monochrome masterpiece in one of Jordan and Nike’s favorite shades of red, Infrared. Adding hairy suede across the entire shoe from toe to heel, the colorway keeps the same shade going on the tongue, laces, and midsole, with the only hit of contrast coming from the black Jumpman logo on the tongue. At least there’s one Steph in the league with a sneaker deal.
