Skechers is Offering Pre-Orders for OG Anunoby’s SKX Nexus Knicks PE

No one was prepared for the success of the New York Knicks, it seems. After 53 years without an NBA title, NYC’s premier basketball franchise (sorry, Brooklyn Nets fans) secured a victory in the NBA Finals, thanks in large part to OG Anunoby. The nonchalant forward made one of the greatest last-second shots in Finals history when he tipped in Jalen Brunson’s missed 3-pointer to give the Knicks the lead by one point with 1.2 seconds left on the clock. Time expired, and the Knicks walked out of MSG up 3-1 in the series. On OG’s feet during this moment? A pair of Skechers SKX Nexus PEs.

OG Anunoby’s Skechers are Dropping at Retail

While at first, Skechers relayed to the world that the blue and orange Knicks-themed SKX Nexus’ that OG rocked during this game would be a player exclusive, Skechers is joining Nike in the pre-order trend after The Swoosh offered reservations for the Air Jordan 3 Knicks and Air Force 1 Low ‘01 NYC. Right now, you can head over to Skechers’ website and enter your email to be alerted when pre-orders open for OG’s player-exclusive kicks.

This comes after Skechers announced OG as the next signature athlete on the brand’s roster, becoming only the second NBA player with a sneaker at Skechers behind Joel Embiid. No details have been shared on exactly when OG’s signature shoe with Skechers is hitting retail, and we have no idea what the shoe looks like, but we’ll soon find out more. In the meantime, this PE should hold the tide for Knicks fans.
