OG Anunoby Officially Signs With Skechers Basketball

New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby had one of the most memorable dunks of the 2025 NBA Playoffs when he posterized Derrick White in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. He did so wearing a pair of Skechers sneakers, and while it was speculated he may have signed a deal with the brand, the brand has now officially announced that he has joined its growing roster of elite athletes.
“Skechers has helped me continue to play basketball at an elite level and I love these shoes,” Anunoby said. “I play quick and low to the court. I jump and move a lot. Skechers has the shoe to keep me comfortable, keep me protected, and keep me playing my best every day.”

Anunoby’s signing comes just ahead of Skechers' European Basketball Tour, where he’ll team up with fellow Skechers athlete Terance Mann of the Brooklyn Nets. The tour kicks off July 26 in Belgrade and will include stops in Berlin, Frankfurt, and Zadar. Both athletes will participate in events hosted by Skechers’ European retail partners, meeting with fans and media along the way.
“OG is a fantastic and inspiring addition to our global roster,” said David Weinberg, COO of Skechers. “Known for his viral dunks and defensive strength, he embodies the kind of energy and excellence we’re building our basketball category around.”

Born in London and raised in Missouri, Ogugua “OG” Anunoby made history in 2019 as the first British-born player to win an NBA Championship, doing so with the Toronto Raptors. Since being traded to the Knicks in 2024, Anunoby has thrived, averaging a career-high 18 points per game last season.
On the court, Anunoby will rotate between two of Skechers’ flagship models, the SKX NEXUS, a low-top built for speed and stability, and the SKX REIGN, engineered for vertical explosiveness and next-level traction.
Anunoby joins a Skechers Basketball roster stacked with talent, including his former Raptors teammate Norman Powell, Terance Mann, Julius Randle, Joel Embiid, Jabari Walker, and Josh Green, as well as WNBA stars Rickea Jackson, Jackie Young, and Kiki Iriafen.
