Combining his love for vintage and sustainability, Sean Wotherspoon throws Hot Wheels into the mix.
After recently releasing a triple collab with Atmos and adidas on the Superturf Adventure, Sean Wotherspoon has another one on the way. While still maintaining his moral ethics, Sean looks to an uncommon place for inspiration.
The owner of Round Two sticks to his design language of colorfully vibrant vegan materials. A cream colored mesh acts as the base for the multi-colored overlays throughout the upper. Faux leather and suede make up the white toe cap, the two-toned yellow and white mudguard and yellow eyelets. Adorning the mid foot is Three Stripe branding made up of a purple, aqua and salmon nylon. A Hot Wheels shroud covers the laces, working up to the tongue revealing “It’s Not The Same” underneath. Back on the heel tab, aqua velcro hosts a “Hot Wheels” patch in lieu of adidas branding. Finishing the look is the adiPrene midsole in shades of cream and off-white paired to a Traxion outsole in a similar shade of cream.
The Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Superturf Adventure Hot Wheels is set to release on August 18th, 2022 via the CONFIRMED app and Round 2. A wider release on August 25th will occur at select retailers worldwide, online and in-store. The retail for men’s pairs is set at $160.
