Sean Wotherspoon, owner of vintage consignment shop Round Two turned sneaker designer, has had the opportunity to work with three of the biggest footwear brands in the world. After his instant classic Nike Air Max 97/1, Sean was given another opportunity to design for their Asics as well as adidas. Since then, four of his adidas designs have made their way to the public, with the recently revealed EQT Support ‘93 “Super Earth” being his fifth.
To express his love for Earth and vegan lifestyle, Sean’s take on the adidas EQT Support ‘93 will feature all vegan and recycled materials, mirroring adidas’ push towards sustainability. Dressed in multicolor fashion, the upper consists of yellow and black mesh overlays with hits of red and purple seen on the mid foot and heel. Rainbow colored eyelets run up the tongue with white laces weaving in and out. The heel portion contains a signature piece of SW x adidas collabs, embroidered flowers with loose threads hanging down. Paired to a white midsole and black outsole, the vintage and vegan aesthetic is felt throughout the design.
With this first look arriving via Sean himself, we can expect the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas EQT Support ‘93 Super Earth to arrive sometime in the coming months. adidas and select retailers will carry this release both in-store and online.
