Salomon Debuts The XT-Whisper Void In Four Colorways

Salomon came on strong in the sneaker world with the popularity of gorpcore, as its roster of state-of-the-art silhouettes found new life in the current fashion landscape. The brand’s legacy of tech-heavy sneakers lives on with the Salomon XT-Whisper Void, a “new” model making its official debut in four different colorways this month.

Originally released in the year 2000, the XT-Whisper was designed as a women's running shoe. In late 2024, Salomon brought back the OG XT-Whisper in its original form and colorways, but this time as a unisex model. This iteration of the XT-Whisper Void is a sleeker, stylized version of the Whisper silhouette with a 3D mesh upper. While the brand just officially unveiled the sneaker, it’s already been introduced to the market through collaborations with END and Ama Lou.

Packing in as much tech as possible, the XT-Whisper Void features Salomon’s Sensifit™, Quicklace™, and Agile Chassis™ systems for optimal comfort, durability, and style. For its debut, the French label has crafted four launch colorways: Black Silver Metallic, Vanilla Ice, Liberty Astral Aura, and Alloy Castlerock.

The Salomon XT-Whisper Void will be available beginning August 20, 2025, via Salomon and select retail partners online and in-store. The shoe will be offered in unisex sizing for $170.
