Working for the likes of Yeezy, Cole Haan, and Versace in the past, Salehe Bembury has been making waves in the sneaker industry as of late. His Crocs Pollex Clog design took the sneaker world by storm over the last two years. This partnership became one of the most successful for Crocs, so much so that Bembury has been named the Creative Director of Crocs’ new Pollex Pod Collection. Following this news, Salehe took to Instagram to showcase a photoshoot that teases, for the first time, his Pollex Clog in kids’ sizing.
The kids' version retains the same 3D fingerprint design and perforations found on the adult sizes, although the rubberized portions on the toe and outsole have been removed. The smaller kids sizes (likely pre-school and toddler) forgo the nylon and foam "sports mode" strap found on the adult sizes in favor of the typical all-foam strap. The Crocs Pollex Clog for kids will be available in various colorways, including the previously released "Cobbler" and "Tide" iterations and new colorways such as a vibrant volt green, an all-purple pair, and a light tan pair.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog in kids’ sizing is set to release in 2023. As of this writing, pricing information for the pairs is TBA, though expect them to be cheaper than the typical $85 price point for adult pairs.
