Ronnie Fieg Debuts Kith x Nike Air Max 95 Courtside at Madison Square Garden

Kith has dominated the newscycle this week. The NYC-based retailer and fashion label unveiled a new collaboration with Marvel vs. Capcom and Asics, spanning six different sneakers, a range of apparel items, accessories, and even arcade cabinets. While founder Ronnie Fieg has a deep history with Asics that includes over 100 different sneakers, his partnership with Nike is quite limited. That will all change later this year with a full collection of Kith x Nike kids clothing and sneakers, including the Air Max 95.

This year is most definitely the year of the Air Max 95 with the Sergio Lozano sneaker celebrating its 30th birthday. With that, Nike has given us dozens of high-heat releases on the sneaker, retros of classics, and collaborations galore. It’s maintained a large fanbase over its 30-year history, and Ronnie Fieg is part of this camp. He posted on X, “The Air Max 95 is the greatest designed footwear across all categories. And it's not even close. The single greatest shoe of all time.”

For Kith’s first take on the Air Max 95, Fieg has kept the DNA of the original pretty intact, using a greyscale gradient on the layered suede paneling. Light grey hues transition into darker ones as you move down, eventually meeting the blacked-out foam midsole. Here, we see royal blue Air units, including a “big bubble” Air unit in the heel, as a nod to the New York Knicks. More Knicks-friendly colors are found on the nylon lace loops, which are rendered in orange and rest below the white mesh net. Final details include debossed Kith and Nike logos on the suede upper, royal blue Swoosh logos on the collar, and Kith-branded tongue tags.

Alongside the pictured pair, Kith is dropping a second colorway in El Dorado. The sneaker features the titular hue alongside sail, dark beetroot, rush maroon, dark wine, and vintage wine. This all sounds great right? Well, unfortunately the pairs will be exclusively released in kids' sizing. Bummer for the adults. This will ring true for other Kith x Nike sneakers in the near future, including the Linen-shaded AF1 for Summer 2026.

The Kith x Nike Air Max 95 Pack will be released alongside Air Force 1s, Swoosh 1s, a Footscape Woven, and a range of clothing sometime in Holiday 2025.
