Pharrell Williams’ Humanrace Gets two adidas Adizero Evo SL Colorways

Pharrell Williams x adidas Adizero Evo SL Pack

Paris Fashion Week is underway, and Pharrell Williams has been in the spotlight throughout, thanks to his work with Louis Vuitton and his upcoming adidas Adistar Jellyfish sneaker. Following the launch of his Humanrace label’s adidas Samba Collection in May 2024, the other Pharrell x adidas releases, that being an Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 and a two-pack of adidas Superstar 92s, have forgone references to his famous label. That will change when Williams takes on the adidas Adizero Evo SL.

Inspired by the aforementioned Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1, adidas’ headline-making $500 supershoe, the Adizero Evo SL has enjoyed success in the lifestyle realm as non-runners have taken a liking to the sneaker for its comfort and slick design. Most of these non-collaborative offerings have stuck to simple two-tone colorblocking. Pharrell’s Humanrace imprint is about to change that as it applies a multi-color Three Stripes design motif to Black and White colorways.

Both pairs come with the same colorblocking and added design details, including the brown, blue, and green Three Stripes logo on the midfoot, and the monochromatic finish for the rest of the paneling on the sneaker. Adizero text on the spine of the tongue contrasts each pair, with blue used on the White colorway and green used on the Black. Inside sits the Humanrace text in another contrasting hue on the insole. Finishing the sneaker is the engineered mesh upper in a tonal hue, and the Lightstrike Pro midsole is also done in tonal shades.

Pharrell Williams’ Humanrace x adidas Adizero Evo SL Pack will release in August 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price hasn’t been announced, but expect to pay an extra premium on top of the standard $150 tag usually reserved for the Adizero Evo SL.
