Clipse Debuts Pharrell Williams’ Latest adidas Adistar Jellyfish Colorway
Published
No Malice and Pusha T are finally back together after decades removed from their last project under the Clipse name. In the lead-up to the brothers' fourth studio album, Let Got Sort' Em Out, they've engaged in some rap beef thanks to Push's scathing verse on the latest single, "So Be It" where he takes shots at GOOD Music alum Travis Scott, and are continuing to make headlines with their connection to designers and the fashion world. No, not their album covers and merch in collaboration with KAWS and Verdy, but the duo's close relationship with Louis Vuitton's current men's creative director, Pharrell Williams.
Being so close to Skateboard P means the duo of Malice and Push have access to Pharrell’s designs well ahead of the public. And with Paris Fashion Week underway, they are, of course, in town to support their long-time friend. Both members of Clipse have been spotted rocking Pharrell Williams’ adidas Adistar Jellyfish sneaker in a brand-new colorway.

First previewed in January, the Jellyfish silhouette enlarges and exaggerates the proportions of adidas' mesh runner from the 2000s, the Adistar Cushion 3. The original colorway shown to the public featured hits of white, black, and orange, which showcased the three-dimensional TPU panels and the enlarged silhouette, but the pair worn by Clipse tones things down.
Here, the sneaker is rendered in shades of grey, black, and white, though the defining features, such as the large 3D TPU midfoot panels, are still present. Virginia branding, a nod to the home state of Pharrell and Clipse, is found on the tongue tag below the adidas Jellyfish branding. Underfoot sits a large foam midsole in white, black, and grey, and a tonal rubber outsole.
The latest colorway of Pharrell Williams’ adidas Adistar Jellyfish has no confirmed release date. Still, the model will debut at $300 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store later in the year.
