Paolo Banchero Debuts the Air Jordan 4028 With His Own Player Exclusive

Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero has been off to a hot start this season, on the court and on his feet. Less than a month into the season, Banchero, a Jordan Brand athlete, has already popped out in PE colorways of the Jordan 40 and Tatum 4. This week, he added another new Jordan to his on-court rotation, bringing out the new fully sheathed Jordan 4028 hybrid.

The Paolo Banchero x Air Jordan 4028 is a perfect mix of the 2013 Tinker Hatfield-co-designed Jordan 28 and the latest numbered pair, the Air Jordan 40. Starting with a Jordan 40 base in pale yellow with a speckled white midsole and volt green accents, the shoe gets a Jordan 28-inspired full cover sheath in light blue that folds and zips all the way up the ankle or folds down over the upper, revealing Banchero’s “PB” logo inside.

Jordan has embraced the hybrid cosplay concept for the Jordan 40, bringing out colorways and retooling inspired by a handful of past Jordan models. So far, we’ve seen the 4016 and 4023, with news that the 4014, 4020, and 4028 will come later in 2026, each blending late model Jordan vibes with the latest performance shoe from the Jumpman line.
