Kim K Pay Day: The NikeSKIMS Rift Sold Out in Under an Hour

Nike’s latest collab effort is already proving to be a perfect pick, with the first collab shoe in partnership with Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS shapewear brand, the NikeSKIMS Rift, selling out its three debut colorways in under an hour.

With less than a month's notice, the NikeSKIMS partnership evolved from co-branded sets of gym gear and outerwear to a retooled retro of the split-toe Nike Air Rift runner from 1996. Slicing down the silhouette to a lower profile that matches the current women’s footwear trends and adding custom SKIMS “S” print to the outsole tread, Kim K’s first Nike sneaker collab is sleek, simple, and already sold out.

The shoe debuted in three colorways: Archeo Brown, Velvet Brown, and Black, all with an ultra-thin mesh and synthetic upper construction. All three colorways sold out in less than an hour on both Nike and SKIMS’ websites, no doubt leaving some SKIMS diehards in the dust.

With the first three colorways of the NikeSKIMS Rift gone, we look forward to the next drop, a two-pack of satin colorways in triple-black and a pinkish Silt Red.
