Earlier in the year, Nike announced a new partnership with Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS label, NikeSKIMS, that will include apparel and sneakers. While we still have yet to get our first taste of the apparel that was supposed to be released in Spring 2025, Sole Retriever can confirm that Kim Kardashian and Nike’s NikeSKIMS brand will launch eight colorways of the NikeSKIMS Air Rift.
The eight different NikeSKIMS sneakers are split between two different material makeups, one set of four done in mesh and another set of four done in Satin. We’ve seen Nike launch GR versions of the Air Rift with both of these materials, though it’s unknown exactly how NikeSKIMS will reinterprate the tabi-toe sneaker. Colors are set to include earthy tones, the signature palette of SKIMS. The mesh pairs come in Black, Light Bone, Velvet Brown, and Archaeo Brown, while the satin version comes in Black, Velvet Brown, Obsidian, and Silt Red.
The Air Rift was originally released in 1996 as a performance runner and is one of Nike’s most boundary-pushing designs, especially for the era it originated in. Inspiration came from the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, a region that has produced some of the best marathon athletes in the world and Kenyan runners who opt to run barefoot.
The NikeSKIMS Air Rift Pack will release in Spring 2026 through Nike, SKIMS, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
