Following the return of the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 All-Star for the All-Star Weekend festivities in Los Angeles, Nike is going back into the vault. Last seen during the silhouette’s 2004 release, the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 OT Black is making a comeback later this month.
Helmed by famed Nike designer Eric Avar, the Zoom Huarache 2K4 served as a launch pad for Kobe’s signature Nike line, with this specific colorway staying true to the original form. While the colorway may look like a simple triple black colorway perfect for the lethal skills of the Black Mamba, the model is packed with an array of textures and details that help it stand out while being understated.
The model borrows from two other legacy sneakers, in the Air Force 1 and the Air Flight Huarache. The silhouette adopts the neoprene bootie and windowed ankle collar that are hallmarks of the Flight Huarache. The black leather upper and a large lateral Swoosh, which comes in a debossed form, are a clear nod to the legendary Air Force 1.
Adding to the textural palette are hints of suede on the toe and heel counter. Blacked-out mini Swooshes add a hidden detail to the overlay on the toe, while a glossy TPU heel counter adds a supportive sheen. Completing the look is the black Phylon midsole that features a similarly shiny look.
The Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 OT Black releases April 30, 2026, via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizes, the retail price is set at $200.
