Across the NBA, a select few individuals have the privilege of getting a signature silhouette from a major sports brand with Nike reigning supreme as its roster contains some of the game's biggest stars. One key individual, Giannis Antetokounmpo, offers an affordable take on performance basketball sneakers with the Nike Zoom Freak 4 and dresses the model in color schemes and themes that are close to him. Recently spotted in a Bahamas-inspired colorway, Giannis etches inspirational quotes onto the “Etched In Stone” colorway.
Tonal grey shades take over the mesh and fused overlay-covered upper, truly bringing the stone vibes to the model. Working over to the reverse Nike Swoosh on the lateral side, more stone shades are visible with an inspirational quote written that states “The one who believed would become unbelievable.” As for the rest of the sneaker, things remain pretty standard for a Zoom Freak 4 with mesh taking over the tongue and Giannis’ compass logo taking over the left sneakers tag. More tonal grey shades appear on the collar, heel tab, sockliner, and insole and contrast the speckled grey and white Zoom Air cushioned midsole. Rounding out the design is the marbled black and white rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Freak 4 Etched In Stone is set to release on New Year's Day, January 1st, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s, grade school, and pre-school sizing, the retail price is set at $130, $105, and $80 respectively.
