WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu’s signature sneaker, the Nike Sabrina 1, makes her just the 12th woman in history to receive her own performance basketball model. Nike recently offered customizable versions of Sabrina’s sneaker through Nike By You, and in-house designs are almost ready to hit shelves. Following an early look at the “Spark” colorway, we now have retailer images of the Photon Dust covered "Icon" rendition as well.

This version of the Nike Sabrina 1 is shrouded in a multitude of grey shades, with a textile material gracing the toe and eyestays. Semi-translucent TPU is used for the midfoot and heel and hosts a Swoosh outlined in black on the lateral side. The medial side’s Swoosh is flipped vertically to represent the barriers Sabrina has broken throughout her career. Sabrina's logo adorns the tongue in a lavender hue, and her signature is emblazoned on the spine of the heel. The shoe also features a hidden message, "Anyone, Anywhere," discreetly placed on the cutout of the midsole’s medial side. Underfoot sits a grey foam and semi-translucent rubber midsole housing full-length Nike React cushioning and Zoom Air in the forefoot. Rounding out the design is an outsole with a grippy traction pattern.

The Nike Sabrina 1 Icon was initially set to release August 3. However, the pair will now drop on September 1, 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in extended women's sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
