The Los Angeles Lakers are having a tough time against the league-best OKC Thunder in the second round of the playoffs, but luckily, unlike Oklahoma, LA still has plenty of stuff to do once the season finale of the Lake Show wraps up. The Nike Lebron 23 Closing Ceremony is the latest PE colorway of LBJ’s 23rd silhouette to take after pairs from ‘Bron’s legendary past. LeBron broke out the latest colorway ahead of Game 3 against OKC, showing off a black pair with gold, green, and red decorative floral designs jumping off the jacquard upper.
Updating the colorway for the current silhouette, the LeBron 23 features shiny black on the crown-shaped structural panel and the tongue, but goes to matte for the rose and vine design paneling. Just like the Kith x LeBron 15, the rest of the shoe is blacked out to bring more focus to the graphic print.
The Nike LeBron 23 Closing Ceremony PE was made strictly for LeBron, so as of now, we don’t expect a public release. If the shoe ever does make it to retailers, though, definitely expect to find it at Kith LA. For all the latest Nike LeBron news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
