All-Star Weekend is long behind us, and the NBA playoff chase is officially on, but LeBron James is still channeling his All-Star history, and it’s paying off. LBJ and the Lakers dominated a Curry-less Warriors team over the weekend, with LeBron putting in a retro 4-6 from beyond the arc while wearing a new PE of his Nike LeBron 23, this time calling back to the Big Bang Nike LeBron 9 from the 2012 All-Star Game.

Taking a detour from his 23 colorways of the LeBron 23 paying tribute to his greatest career moments, LeBron heated up in the self-referential orange PE that added his OG LBJ23 logo on the medial side. The upper is covered in two tones of orange with a brighter color on the tongue and the thick stitching that separates the crown-shaped bottom half from the lightweight upper.

Instead of the bright green outsole from the LeBron 9 OG, the LeBron 23 PE adds a clear white outsole underfoot, but keeps the comet-themed tongue logo and adds carbon fiber black hits of the Swoosh on the lateral side, and The King’s original Nike logo to the medial side.

As of now, there’s no word on a public release for the Nike LeBron 23 Big Bang colorway, so we expect this to be another in the long list of PEs made strictly for The King. To keep up with all the latest Nike LeBron news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
