Nike was ready for the Mamba Invitational. Not only did they bring out the best high school basketball players in the country to face off in yet another Nike-sponsored heavyweight summer hoops run, but The Swoosh also pulled out all the stops on the sneakers, gifting the kids Kobe PEs and showing off new Protros that we’ve been waiting on for months.

Shades of Purple Stardust

The Nike Kobe AD Protro Stardust is the first Protro return of Kobe’s first post-retirement signature shoe, in a classic purple colorway. Back nearly 10 years after its OG debut, the Kobe AD Protro gets a remix for the current era of performance hoops, with Air Zoom in the midsole.
