Mamba Mentality: Nike Made a Fire Orange Gradient Kobe 10 Protro PE for the Mamba Invitational

The summer is heating up, and we’re not just talking about the weather. After a couple of months of serious youth hoops competition across the country, high school hoop circuits are coming to a crescendo with heavyweight tournaments like Nike Nationals, the EYBL Peach Jam, and, in LA, the Mamba Invitational.

The Nike Kobe 10 Protro Mamba Invitational PE is the latest in a long run of Nike PEs for the country’s best young hoopers this summer, but this might be the best yet. Continuing Nike’s Kobe 10 Protro return, the Mamba Invitational PE adds a tonal orange gradient with an LA hit in Olde English on the heel.

Featuring a reinforced mesh across the upper, the colorway features a bright orange on the toe and lower section of the upper, and gets progressively lighter as it moves toward the tongue. The Swoosh, Kobe sheath tongue tag, and the LA heel hit add black, and an “MM” tag hanging off the back of the Swoosh brings the Mamba Mentality with every step.
