While you may be sick and tired of the Nike Dunk, The Swoosh is continuing to pump out new colorways of the basketball-turned-lifestyle silhouette. In 2022, we’ve seen the standard two-tone designs, though plenty of releases have seen changeups from chenille Swooshes to all-velvet makeovers. Although the latest colorway to emerge, the Nike Dunk Low "Pearlized," keeps the silhouette leather build, the shine on the leather makes this one stand out from the rest of the Dunk releases.
Tumbled leather takes over the upper, sans the mesh tongue and sockliner, with a silver sheen added atop the material. This monochromatic look extends throughout, though the Swoosh does get a more true silver makeover. The laces and tongue both come in a contrasting white shade while the leather tongue tag up top comes in a similar silver sheen compared to the rest of the sneaker. Back on the heel tab, the embossed detail forgoes typical Nike branding, instead adding an almost infinity-symbol-like logo that, upon closer inspection, is just four Nike Swooshes interconnected. Underfoot, a sail Dunk midsole gets paired with a lilac-shaded rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Pearlized is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. As of now, sizing and pricing information is TBA.
