The Nike Dunk Low has seen just about every variation of color and material you could think of, from two-tone looks like the recently revealed Tan Suede or the fleece-covered mint green colorway. Following in suit with the latter, images of an all-velvet Nike Dunk Low dressed in "Bright Spruce" have emerged.
Forgoing the leather or suede construction typically seen on the sneaker, the silhouette gets dressed completely in teal velvet across the underlays and overlay. Perforations on the toebox, mesh used on the tongue, a Nike Swoosh in a tonal shade of bright spruce, and contrasting white laces give this slight redesign a familiar feel. Even the sockliner and insole come in their typical build with more shades of bright spruce present, though the insole’s Nike branding gets stamped on in white. Further branding details still land on the heel tab, this time in a matching shade that almost makes the embroidery blend in. Rounding out the look is a white Dunk midsole paired with a teal rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low SE Bright Spruce Velvet W is slated to release in November 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
