July is around the corner, time to bust out your barbeque, swim trunks, and as much USA-themed gear you can fit on your body ahead of the 4th of July celebrations. Often partaking in the festivities is Nike, coming out with America-centric colorways on plenty of their most popular models every year. While this year already includes the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Independence Day,” Nike is set to release the Nike Dunk High “USA Red."
Mixing up smooth and tumbled leather across the upper, the silhouette takes on American Flag colors of red, white, and blue. Around the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, a red tumbled leather accents smooth white leather located on the perforated toebox, midfoot panel, and ankle collar. Red flat laces work up the sandwich mesh tongue towards a basketball-themed Nike branded tongue tag in USA flag colors. Blue makes its appearance on the Nike Swoosh located on the profile of the silhouette, running back to a leather pull-tab borrowing this same shade. Internally, the sockliner and insole take on a red shade with Nike branding coming in blue. Rounding out the look is the white midsole with a grey rubber outsole underneath.
The Nike Dunk High USA Red is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
