Every Independence Day, Americans celebrate with food, drinks and patriotic themed clothing. Nike is no stranger to celebrating the holiday, covering many models in the red, white and blue. For the iconic silhouettes 40th anniversary, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid Jewel “Independence Day” returns for the first time.
Released back in 1997, the “Independence Day” colorway of this cult classic silhouette fit the era well. White tumbled leather accented by the blue pearlized leather around the overlays of the toe box, heel and lockdown strap. A red Jeweled Nike Swoosh is what sets this model apart from a regular Air Force 1, giving the mid panel room to breathe. Set to a standard white AF1 midsole and translucent rubber outsole, the patriotic color scheme is felt throughout the design.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Jewel Independence Day is set to be released in 2022. Retailing for $140, they will be available in men's sizing.
