Even though Nike's Cortez celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, it looks like the party's just getting started. After checking out the "Triple Black" a few days back and the latest CLOT collab that seems to be inspired by Bruce Lee, we're now taking our first look at the Nike Cortez SE "Sail Iced Lilac." Dressed in white tumbled leather throughout, sail suede adorns the toebox, lacing system, and back for a subtle pop of contrast, both in an aesthetic sense and a textural one. An ice lilac Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and this pastel palette extends towards the heel badge, which is decorated with "Cortez" text in an almost Barbie-like font. All of this then sits on top of a subtly serrated midsole, just like the OG from '72, and it's further accented with a dash of club gold, finalizing the simple yet striking design.
The Nike Cortez SE Sail Iced Lilac W is set to release sometime in Summer 2023 and will be available exclusively in women's sizes for a retail price of $100.
