After taking on the Air Jordan 1 Mid, Dunk Low, and Dunk High models, the plaid pattern has finally made its way around to the Blazer Low with the upcoming Nike Blazer Low "Tartan." While the classic motif is seldom used on modern sneakers, the Beaverton-based footwear brand has never been one to shy away from experimenting with new designs and materials. While this Blazer Low keeps things relatively minimal with a white leather upper, that's where the simplicity sort of ends. An exposed foam nylon tongue arrives in a clean cream hue, and this is complemented by an off-white midsole underfoot which offers some serious vintage vibes. Along the side panels you'll find a tartan Swoosh that's done up in green, red, and black tones, and this pattern extends all the way towards the heel badge where you'll find "Nike" branding stitched in white.
The Nike Blazer Low Tartan is set to release in Holiday 2022 in men's sizes. A retail price has yet TBA, but this plaid pair will be available to cop at Nike and select online and physical stockists.
