The Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2 Debuts In A Bred Colorway

Recently introduced courtesy of Devin Booker and Sabrina Ionescu, the Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2 presents to us years of innovation in footwear tech that is specifically designed with player input and technical data in mind. Taking what was great from the original Zoom GT Cut and infusing it with updated performance features, the model is set to debut in the classic and fan-favorite “Bred” colorway.

Taking on an engineered mesh upper with various jagged cuts throughout, a two-tone black and white thread is used that contrasts well with the black and red found throughout the rest of the sneaker. Salmon-colored eyestays host a set of black flat laces that rest above a padded neoprene tongue with Zoom GT branding in red. Along the midfoot, a 3D Nike Swoosh comes in white while the nearby black heel overlay gets a ribbed plastic makeover alongside red accents via triangular cutouts on the leather collar. Around the newly reshaped heel sits a black mesh sockliner with a drop-in React foam insole getting covered in “Bred.” Underfoot, a grey and black foam midsole features a full-length Zoom Strobel unit with added Zoom Air found back in the heel for added impact protection. Rounding out the design is the brand new rubber outsole, featuring a wiper-blade pattern with deep tread grooves that will separate and snap back once pressure is applied and released respectively.

The Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2 Bred is set to drop via exclusive access through Nike on September 16th, 2022 while a worldwide drop through select retailers will go down on September 20th. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
