Following the announcement of the Air Force 1 Low "NAI-KE" which celebrates the basketball silhouette's 40th birthday, Nike has now taken the wraps off the Nike Air Pegasus 83 "NAI-KE" which nods to the running model's 30th anniversary. A range that was introduced in China decades ago, it has now been brought back in all its glory, so make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know.
Working on top of a creamy sail suede base, canvas panels surround the toebox, heel, and lacing system in a selection of earthy tones. Geometric patterning embellishes the lateral and medial sidewalls, and this is overlaid by a wheat Swoosh that extends all the way towards the heel, where you'll find "Nike" in Chinese characters. Elsewhere, the tongue tag is kept in a crisp white hue, complete with "The One Line" branding which references the Oregon company's experimental running shoe collection that was made exclusively for China. This all comes packed in a special edition shoebox that reads "Elevating Inner Peace Through Sports," alongside an exclusive bandana that you'll only find with "NAI-KE" releases.
Releasing sometime in 2023, the Nike Air Pegasus 83 NAI-KE W will be available exclusively in women's sizes with a retail price yet TBA. As you might have guessed already, these will be exclusive to Asian markets, so expect it to hit Nike China and select online and in-store retailers within the coming months.
