Some heat is a little more meaningful than the rest. Nike’s latest Legacy 365 project saw the light of day this week, when Circulate founder Corey Populus posted a new pair of Air Max SNDR made for the Legacy 365 program, designed to celebrate Nike’s black employees and community.
The Nike Air Max SNDR Legacy 365 is a masterpiece in shades of Purple Dynasty leather, with a repeating gradient fan print that moves back and forth from white on the upper, and etched graphic detail with black pearl studs embedded throughout the side panels. Packaged in a custom purple carrying case with Black Legacy written across the front, the pair came with a card explaining the design themes behind the 365 pair-exclusive.
“Inspired by a moment of transition and becoming, this Nike Air Max SNDR reflects the journeys of black communities worldwide, moving toward possibility," the card reads. "It honors movement, spark, and the beauty of transformation. The courage to leave the familiar and to create space for what’s next.”
The Nike Air Max SNDR Legacy 365 is the first exclusive pair we’ve seen from the program since the Legacy 365 Dunk Low from 2024, which was also made in just 365 pairs. The Legacy 365 SNDR will not be released to the public. For all the latest exclusive Nike news, download the Sole Retriever App.
